A native of Portland, Oregon Danny Hay Davis has been creating his distinct brand of music for over two decades.
Danny's songs reach many directions. His words and melodies are delivered on a rich foundation of simple rhythms, laced with colorful and exciting fretwork.
Danny played over 600 shows as lead guitarist for the blues, country, rock band "The Yanks" from 2001 thru 2004, opening for acts like Molly Hatchet and Jimmy Van Zandt, and also as headliners of various ABATE sanctioned events.
Danny's new band "The Danny Hay Davis Band" has been nominated for a Muddy Award as Best New Act by the Cascade Blues Association.
He has performed at some of the best Blues festivals in the Pacific Northwest.
He has played on some of Portland's best stages, including the legendary punk club, "Satyricon", as well as the cities best nightclubs and blues bars.
Danny has performed his original material on Beale Street in Memphis, Tenn, has had his songs aired on the radio in 4 countries, and sold CD's in 9 countries and 14 states, so far!
